The beach at Playa Honda is 5 mins drive away. A fabulous sandy beach with
showers, restaurants and a promenade walkway that stretches from Arrecife to the
old town in Puerto del Carmen some 8 kilometres away.
All major beaches at Puerto del Carmen are 5/10 drive away and at Costa Tequise
10/15 mins away. Nudist beaches at Papagayo are 25 mins away.
TOURIST ATTRACTIONS
Casa Kernow is perfectly situated for visiting the wonderful attractions that
Lanzarote has to offer. The Fire Mountains of Timanfaya, Mirador del Rio , El
Golfo, Los Hervideros, Jameos del Agua, Jardin de Cactus, Cueva de los Verdes,
Fundacion Cesar Manrique, the Aquapark and Rancho texas are all easily accessed
from Casa Kernow.

GOLF
There is a golf course 15 mins drive away at Costa Tequise and 2 new ones
proposed, one of which is under construction 5 mins drive away at Puerto del
Carmen, the other to be at Playa Blanca 20 mins away.
TENNIS
There are tennis courts that can be booked at Fariones and San Antonio, all 5/10
mins away from Casa Kernow.
TRAVEL
Car hire is considered essential and we get great discounts for our guests.
Arrecife airport is 5 mins drive away, and we meet our guests at the
airport.
DISTANCES
Everywhere on the island is within 45 mins drive of Casa Kernow. Most large
towns and centres with bars, restaurants, clubs are only 5/10 mins away.
